Automated Policy Updates: Overview

How to Manage Policy Updates in Airmason

Stay compliant effortlessly. Airmason's automated policy updates make it simple to review, add, and update policies in your state addendum. Here's how to make the most of it.

Step 1: Open your Airmason admin dashboard. The orange banner shows how many policy updates are pending.

Step 2: Click the Automated Policy Updates dropdown in the editor to view all upcoming updates.

Step 3: Review each entry to see whether it's a new or updated policy, and check the issue date.

Step 4: Click Full Details, then expand the dropdown to read the policy description and full content.


Adding a New Policy

Step 1: For a new policy, click Copy to Clipboard to grab the policy text.

Step 2: Open your handbook and navigate to where the new policy should live.

Step 3: Click Add Page.

Step 4: Choose the Blank Template.

Step 5: Name your new page and click Add Page.

Step 6: Paste the copied content into the new page.

Step 7: Once the policy is in place, click Take Action.

Step 8: Select "I have copied all relevant updates". You can also set a reminder for follow-up or archive the update to clear it from your pending list.


Updating an Existing Policy

Step 1: Find an update marked as an existing policy and click Full Details to open it.

Step 2: Copy the updated policy content to your clipboard.

Step 3: Open the existing policy page in your handbook.

Step 4: Delete the old content and paste in the new policy text.

Step 5: Click Take Action, mark the update as done, and press Confirm to finish.


Managing Reminders, Archives, and Filters

Step 1: Open the Reminders tab to track pending tasks at a glance.

Step 2: Revisit any archived policies you didn't add to your addendum.

Step 3: Head to the Settings tab to filter updates by region and choose which ones appear in your document.

Step 4: Click Apply to save your regional selections. You can also download your update history and publishing log from this section.

Staying on top of policy updates in Airmason keeps your handbook compliant and your team informed.
