How to change text color & highlight text

This article will guide you through the process of changing the text color and highlighting text in your document.

Below is the manual way to change the text color. To mass change the text color for a specific style format (i.e. heading), please see our "How to change the theme's font colors" support article.

Step 1: Highlight the text whose color you want to change.

Step 2: Click on the A in the toolbar.

Step 3: You can then either select a preselected color.

Step 4: Or click on Custom.

Step 5: Use the color map or enter the hex code for your desired color.

Step 6: Click OK.

You'll notice that your text color has now changed.

Additionally, we can highlight text by following the below steps.

Step 7: Select the desired text you want to highlight

Step 8: Click on the A with the background.

Step 9: Choose the color you want for the highlight from the preselected colors.

Step 10: Or go into Custom

Step 11: Use the color map or enter a hex code.

Step 12: Click OK.

You'll see that your text is now highlighted.
