Setting up AirMason app on BambooHR:
Complete the following steps to allow AirMason to read employees information from BambooHR:
Login to BambooHR and click on the Account icon (initials/DP) available on top right and select API Keys
Then click on Add new key, then enter unique key Name and click on Generate. It will generate the API Key, please copy this key, we would be using this later.
Then click on Report tab from navigation. Once on reports page, click on New Report
While creating a new report, enter a unique report name, and select the following fields:
- Last Name
- First Name
- Birth Date
- Employee #
- Work Email
- Job Information: Location
- Job Information: Division
and save your report.
After saving your report, go to newly created report and it should look like this:
6. On this screen, you should see a number at the end of your browser URL. That is your Report ID (in the below screenshot, it is 99). Please copy it somewhere as we would be using it later.
7. Next, we need to get your organization's BambooHR sub-domain. It's the value that comes before bamboohr.com in your browser URL. In the below screenshot, it is airmason
Connecting BambooHR app to AirMason:
Select BambooHR app from HRIS Platforms and click on Connect and set the following params:
2.1. API Key as your API Key value
2.2. Sub Domain as your organization's BambooHR sub-domain
2.3. Report Module ID as your Report ID value
Testing BambooHR integration:
Select BambooHR app from HRIS Platforms and click on Configure
You should see a button named Sync Employees. Go ahead and click on it. It will bring your BambooHR employees into AirMason
Now go to Manage Organization > Employees (link) and you should see your BambooHR employees being populated there.
Note: If this integration is setup then it will automatically run every 24 hours and will insert/update your BambooHR employees into AirMason.
