How to Add a Document

A quick, step-by-step guide to uploading a document in AirMason — whether you're starting from a template or bringing your own file.

Building a new document in AirMason takes just a minute. You can upload a document you already have or kick things off with one of our ready-made templates — whichever works best for you. Here's exactly how to do it.

Step 1: Start a new handbook. From your dashboard, click the + New button next to "Your Documents."

Step 2: Add your file. Drag and drop your document into the upload window, or click From Files to browse your computer and select it.

Step 3: Name your document. Give it a clear, recognizable title so it's easy to find later.

Step 4: Choose a folder. Pick the folder where your document should live to keep your workspace tidy.

Step 5: Hit Upload. This kicks off the upload and starts processing your file.

Step 6: Confirm your upload. Heads up — processing takes 24 to 72 hours, so your handbook won't be available immediately. Once it's ready, you'll see it listed in your document list, ready to use.

If you’d rather start with a template, follow these steps:

Step 1: Click the + New button, scroll down, and pick one of the available templates.

Step 2: Explore templates by clicking the eye icon to preview. Press Start to launch a new handbook from your selected template.

That's it! Keeping your documents organized makes them easier to find, share, and update. Use a template when you want a head start, or upload your own when you need a fully custom look. Either way, you're set up in just a few clicks.
