To integrate BambooHR with AirMason, you need to be added as a collaborator on the account. If you don’t have access, contact the account owner or admin to grant you the required permissions for IT integration. For instructions on adding a new collaborator, refer to this guide.
Setting up AirMason app on BambooHR:
Complete the following steps to allow AirMason to read employee information from BambooHR:
Log in to BambooHR.
Click on the "Account" icon (initials/DP) on top right.
Select "API Keys".
Select "Add new key".
Input a unique key name and select "Generate". An API Key will be generated. Copy this key for later use.
Click on the "Report" tab. On Reports page, select "New Report".
Enter a unique report name, then select the following fields:
Required:
Last Name
First Name
Employee number
Work Email
Status
Optional:
Birth Date
Job Information: Location
Job Information: Division
Employment Status
Filter the report (optional)
To give a specific group of employees (I.e. full-time/part-time) access to AirMason, you must filter the report. Select "Filter Results" to create your conditions before finalizing the report.
Save your newly created report. Once saved, it should look like this:
Identify your Report ID. It's the number at the end of your browser URL. Copy it for later use.
Identify your organization's BambooHR sub-domain. It's the value that comes before bamboohr.com in your browser URL. Copy it for later use.
12. You now have everything you need to integrate. Follow the steps below to connect BambooHR to AirMason:
Connecting BambooHR app to AirMason:
Log in to AirMason.
Navigate to Integrations page
Select "BambooHR app" from HRIS Platforms.
Select "Connect" and set the following parameters:
2.1. API Key as your API Key value
2.2. Sub Domain as your organization's BambooHR sub-domain
2.3. Report Module ID as your Report ID value
13. Nice work! You're connected. Follow the steps below to test your BambooHR integration:
Testing BambooHR integration:
Log in to airmason.
Navigate to Integrations page
Select "BambooHR app" from HRIS Platforms.
Select "Configure".
Click on "Sync Employees" button to bring your BambooHR employees into AirMason.
Select "Manage Organization".
Click on "Employees" (link). Your BambooHR employees will be listed there.
Note: Once integration is set up, this list will automatically update every 24 hours.
