Make Approval Required Before Publishing a Handbook

Requiring approvals ensures that all handbook updates are reviewed before going live. When enabled, this setting prevents publishing until an Admin or Owner reviews the handbook, so changes can't go live without a final sign-off. Follow these steps to turn on required approvals for each handbook.

Step 1: Click the three dots next to the handbook you want to manage.

Step 2: Select Settings from the menu.

Step 3: Go to the Advanced tab next to General.

Step 4: Find the option labeled Require approval to publish and turn it on.

Step 5: Click Save Changes.

Repeat these steps for every handbook that needs approval enabled.

Requiring approval keeps your handbooks accurate and ensures only reviewed content gets published.
